Sri Lanka Visas
Please be advised that Sri Lanka has introduced an online visa system for all travellers. Visitors must apply for the Electronic Travel Authorization via eta.gov.lk established in the Department of Immigration and Emigration. You will have to pay a fee for this document. Under this scheme tourists can enjoy a 30-days visa and double entry facility is permitted within that period.
- Visa costs are dependent upon your nationality.
- For children under the age of 12 there is no charge, but they do need to have a visa.
- Other visa options such as long-stay and business visas are currently unavailable online.
- Arranging a visa in advance gives you peace of mind and will help you avoid longer queues at the airport for those seeking visa on arrival
