A page turner of a trip

It’s a special part of the world where the honking of tuk-tuks and the rush of waterfalls create a perfect symphony. Welcome to our home; we can’t wait to share our favourite places with you.

Most people have heard of the Taj Mahal. But most people also couldn’t tell you where to savour fragrant, pillowy pittu in Jaffna. As your guides, that’s a responsibility we take very seriously. Look over there, just past the crowds: there is magic.

Every one of our trips is a story of a thousand threads, reflecting the vastness and variety of our wonderland. Ancient monasteries meet the hottest local haunts, and tea-covered hills spill into dreamy island getaways. Together, they form a unique and unforgettable story; one that only you could tell.

Destinations

Sri Lanka

Rise to the call of temple drums. Ask Mendis to show you his favourite local surf spots. End the day feet-in-sand, or tucking into the best Godamba roti that Google can’t find. Where will Sri Lanka take you?

Let's go to Sri Lanka
“On the morning train to Ella. Mist-covered valleys and the brightest green hills stretch out in every direction. But the real action is happening inside.

At one end of our carriage, someone’s beating a drum. At the other, a vendor selling pol pani wafts the sweet smell of coconut my way. I had a huge breakfast at the hotel, but I wouldn’t say no to one of those pancakes right now. I can’t wait to see the tea plantations up close but for now, I’m just enjoying the ride.”

Destinations

India

Heart-thumping skydive over Aamby Valley, or skin-tingling massage at Taj Lake Palace? Whether you’re after culture, nature, lounging or adventure, there’s (so much) more to explore with Red Dot. Where will India take you?
Let's go to India
“Road-tripping through rural Rajasthan today. Made all the more magical by red-turbaned goat herders and flashes of beautiful saris in the dusty air.

Arriving in Udaipur is quite the contrast in the best way possible. The honking of tuk-tuks in traffic, roadside chai, a million windows... I can’t wait to get out there to explore the palaces and stepwells with our guide later. Right after I’m done admiring the insane views of Lake Pichola and the Aravalli mountain range from our terrace.”

Destinations

Maldives

Come face to fin with the deep-sea locals. Set adrift on a paddleboard. Or ground yourself for a yoga session on the beach. Where will The Maldives take you?
Let's go to Maldives
“As we prepare our diving gear, I feel like a kid setting off for Disneyland. Only I'm about to meet a real-life Nemo.“
We reach a quiet lagoon, the water so clear we can spot an eagle ray gliding next to our boat. One (ungraceful) backflip into the sea later, and I've slipped into another world. A coral reef during rush hour. Clownfish, parrotfish, moray eels, a blacktip shark, even a hawksbill turtle! Back at our overwater bungalow, I'm already daydreaming about tomorrow's snorkel and sundowners.”

In your words

We went to Sri Lanka as a three-generation family of three. The superb trip was organised by Samanthie and the team and it's difficult to see how it could have been bettered.

Red Dot organised the most wonderful 3-week holiday for us. Samanthie built a trip around the amazing sights we had requested visiting, together with her own suggestions and a wide mix of hotels, which gave us the flavours of both traditional Sri Lanka and the sleek, stylish contemporary version of the country. Our Driver made the whole experience incredibly special for us.

I can’t thank Cherylle and the Red Dot team enough for their meticulous planning of our family holiday to India travelling through Rajasthan over Christmas. As a family of all adults, every suggestion from daily activities to hotel choices was simply perfect. We travelled through Delhi, Ranthambore (an unforgettable tiger safari!), Jaipur and Agra and I truly feel we experienced the very best of each destination while moving at a relaxed, well thought out pace

My partner arranged a holiday trip at fairly short notice to Sri Lanka with Red Dot on a recommendation, Samanthie was so patient & helpful with her suggested itinerary which we followed with some minor amendments. On arrival at Colombo we met Manjula our chauffeur/guide who was absolutely brilliant!

Dulmini and the Red Dot Team arranged a fantastic trip for us around Assam and North East India. Faultless service. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Wonderful company. Our holiday in Sri Lanka was perfect. Local knowledge made all the difference

We looked up, and communicated with umpteen tour operators. Though Red Dot seemed to have offices in Sri Lanka and the UK, they seemed to have the best reviews. We were fortunate enough to correspond with Cherylle, who not only assured us of the safety of our friend, but created a personalised, and flexible, itinerary which we could not have done ourselves.

A 14-day tour with Red Dot Tours was the perfect antidote to the bleak UK winter. After a glowing recommendation from a friend, we contacted Red Dot Tours and were not disappointed. Our consultant, Lahiru, curated a seamless itinerary. Throughout the planning phase, Lahiru was incredibly responsive; the final itinerary—delivered via a user-friendly 'Guest Portal'—was impressively detailed, covering every hotel stay and excursion.

Venture into Ladakh

It’s easy to get lured into more mainstream sides of India but we urge you to look beyond that. Ladakh, in India’s north, offers another world, where monasteries are perched on mountain tops and snowy peaks contrast with blue skies. Here you’ll find total peace, truly remote and authentic villages, trekking routes, and turquoise lakes. Recent improvements to accommodation make this now a very accessible and comfortable region, which is perfect between May and September.
