Please note that phone signal and Wi-Fi both have a poor connection here, and use of electricity is limited.

Accommodation

There are 10 tented rooms at Wild Glamping Knuckles: two Luxury Double and eight Luxury Twin, all 23 sq m in size. All rooms are raised on stilts and have solid wooden floors, with high-quality tent material used for the roof and walls. A short staircase leads up to each room. All rooms are furnished with generously sized beds (queen-sized in the double rooms),a dressing table, wardrobe and bedside tables with rechargeable solar lamps, and have a spacious attached bathroom complete with w/c, sink and solar-powered h/w shower. Electricity is only available in the rooms between 6.30am – 8am and 6pm – 10pm.

Facilities

Wild Glamping Knuckles was designed to be as unobtrusive to the surrounding landscape as possible, so few facilities are on offer here. There is an open-sided main building which is used for dining and relaxation and offers great views of the area. Cuisine at Wild Glamping is predominantly traditional Sri Lankan fare, but BBQ nights by the campfire are also a frequent occurrence. Phone signal and Wi-Fi are rarely available in this remote location, and electricity is limited to the early morning and night. Solar power is used for the in-room lamps and hot water showers. The real highlight of a stay here is the varied walking trails, led by Wild Glamping’s expert naturalists.
