Accommodation

There are three luxurious and spacious Suites – Cloud 9, Cloud 10 and Cloud 11 - nestled amidst the clouds. The architecture seeks to bring a sophisticated urban feel to one of Sri Lanka’s grandest rural settings. Light wood and white predominate. Two of the Suites also feature hammock beds on the ground floor, while the third boasts a spacious balcony on the first floor. The entire villa can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests. Rooms have king-sized beds, a/c, optional sofa, TV with satellite/cable, minibar, mirror, luxurious en suite bathrooms, tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer, wardrobe.

Facilities

A helipad gives clue to the guests that Waala Kulu is ambitious to attract. The villa also offers personal chefs and a heated infinity pool cut into the slopes. A large dining table supported by easy chairs and sofas is the central social area, supported by chefs who are committed to individual fine dining. A simple Summer Hut is an outdoor seating area. Nearby activities include hiking, zip lines, tea factory visits, historic sites, caves and waterfalls.
