The Beach House

Introduction

The Beach House Mirissa is a six-bedroom boutique hotel that combines luxurious living with an eclectic modern design. The property consists of a four-bedroom Main Villa and an adjoining two-bedroom villa, designed to capture breath-taking views of the Indian Ocean. The exotic interiors are a blend of modern furniture, traditional southern antiques and sculptures and contemporary creative touches. Lounge and restaurant, located in the Main Villa, open out to a secluded beachfront ideal for sunset cocktails or a romantic dinner under the stars.

Accommodation

Of the six suites, four are located in the Main Villa and two are located in the adjoining villa. Five of the six suites have sea views whilst one suite opens out to a balcony with garden views. Suite interiors are luxurious and decorated with strikingly-designed lighting and queen-sized beds. In-room facilities include a/c, overhead fans, satellite TV and movies, BOSE sound system, IDD telephone, complimentary Wi-Fi, mini-bar, Nespresso coffee machine and collection of Ceylon Teas and electronic safe. There are also candles and incense to set the mood, as well as bathrobes, slippers and toiletries. Ensuite bathrooms have h/w showers and some have enclosed courtyard gardens. Additional beds and baby cot can be provided.

Palm Suite (55 sq. metres): Upper floor of the Main Villa, has balcony with garden views. Interior is furnished with twin beds that can be converted into a queen-sized bed. This suite interconnects with the Beach Leisure Suite.

Ocean Suite: Balcony with sea views, connects with Palm Suite. Furnished with twin beds or queen-sized bed.

Ocean Balcony Suite: There are two Beach Balcony Suites, one on the upper floor of the Main Villa and one on the upper floor of the adjoining villa. These suites have private balconies with spectacular sea views and are furnished with twin or queen-size beds.

Ocean Terrace Suite: On the ground floor of the adjoining villa. Opens out to a spacious terrace furnished with a daybed, has direct access to the beach. Furnished with a queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom which has an enclosed courtyard garden.

Pool Suite: This luxurious master suite opens out to a terrace with a private lounge pool and daybed. Has direct access to the beach, furnished with a queen-sized four-poster bed. Ensuite bathroom has an enclosed courtyard garden.

Facilities

Dine on fusion cuisine at the in-house restaurant `Miris’ with seating indoors as well as on the beach. `Miris’ (chilies in Sinhalese) serves an exotic fusion cuisine that blends Sri Lankan and western food. Choose seafood from the in-house fresh fish market and the chef will prepare it to your liking. Other hotel facilities include: a swimming pool; beachfront with day beds, sun lounges and a gazebo; Wi-Fi throughout the property; room, laundry and baby-sitting services; bicycles and a quad bike, and a private boat, used for sunset cruises, fishing and whale and dolphin spotting excursions.
