Signature by Amaya

Introduction

Signature by Amaya is an upmarket offering in Sri Lanka's cultural triangle, located within the premises of Amaya Lake, a sister property. It is made up of six identical villas, each of which has four luxurious, stylishly-designed rooms. This tropical haven retains an intimate feel and resides on the edge of the tranquil waters of the magnificent Kandalama Lake.

Accommodation

All rooms are 771 sq. ft., decorated using simple and complimentary colour tones and furnished with all the modern amenities.

Each room has a spacious sitting area with sofas, a walk-in wardrobe, a rear balcony with views of the river and a veranda at the front. All rooms have the option of twin or king sized beds, a safe, a writing desk with a table lamp, a mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, ironing facilities, LCD television, satellite channels, DVD player, video on demand and access to CD/DVD libraries on request. The bathrooms are spacious and equipped with a mood-lit jacuzzi tub and Bulgari products to indulge yourself in.

Facilities

The hotel has a swimming pool, tennis court, Ayurveda spa, bicycle for hire and yoga. The hotel’s restaurant - Green Apple serves a variety of delicious cuisines including traditional Sri Lankan dishes and western favourites. In addition to in-room dining, the staff will happily organise meals at a venue of your choice whether it’s overlooking the lake or the pool.

The upmarket neighbour of Amaya Lake shares a great position on the edge of Kandalama Lake.

Location

Signature by Amaya, like its sister property Amaya Lake, is 15 minutes from Dambulla Cave Temple and 25 minutes from the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The ancient Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa kingdoms are 1.5 hours away. About three-and-a-half hours from Colombo and the airport.
