It is set on an acre of stunning gardens full of beautiful swaying coconut palms and overlooking the Indian Ocean, and provides some of the most chic beach accommodation that Galle has to offer. Spread over one floor and a mezzanine level, Satin Doll hosts 4 bedrooms, plentiful living and dining space, a TV room and library. Unusually, all the rooms overflow graciously onto verandahs, that run the length of the house, and which overlook the gardens and ocean. The pairing of bedrooms in two wings that flank the large living areas at the centre of the house make it ideal for two families. This stylish villa can accommodate up to eight adults and is perfect for two small families traveling together or a group of friends and couples.

Accommodation

Four beautiful a/c bedrooms, three doubles and one twin, with comfortable antique 4 poster beds, elegant furnishings and covered verandahs. All four bedrooms open to private terraces through tall louvered plantation doors with magnificent views overlooking the gardens and ocean. Baby cots can be arranged on request along with nanny hire at an additional charge.

Facilities

The property is fully wifi enabled, and features indoor and outdoor dining, a cozy TV room and library on the mezzanine floor, and a swimming pool. The home cinema consists of a generous 46-inch flat screen TV, DVD player, surround sound speaker system and satellite connection.. Dining options consist of a formal dining room in the main house, an external dining table in a courtyard shaded by trees and a beautiful traditional pavilion overlooking the ocean. A team of chefs can prepare dishes ranging from tuna sashimi to a perfect rib-eye steak. There are comfortable sofas and chairs and even a desk for those who can’t quite keep work at bay.
