Introduction
Kudakalliya consists of two unpretentious bungalows set on three acres of garden, fronted by a secluded beach stretch with views of the mighty Elephant Rock. Kudakalliya Sayura, the main bungalow, opens on to an enclosed garden and the beach, whereas the other bungalow, Ganga Adhara, overlooks a small river and is surrounded by lush foliage that attracts numerous birds, monkeys and even the occasional wild elephant. Simplicity is the key to Kudakalliya's charm: there is no television or internet, and the bungalows are decorated with timber walls, polished cement floors and broad balconies and terraces that let you take in the breath-taking views. The two eco-friendly bungalows at Kudakalliya can be booked by two different parties on a villa only basis.
