Introduction

Built on the shores of a winding river with rolling green hills beyond, Jetwing Kandy Gallery enjoys a peaceful and scenic setting barely 30 minutes from Kandy’s city centre. As with all of the Jetwing hotels, the culture of the area underpins the design: the traditional colours and patterns of Kandyan royalty lift the rooms, whilst modern metal sculptures of Kandyan dancers line the corridors. The beautiful countryside views can be enjoyed from your private balcony, the swimming pool and the restaurant, giving the sense that you are miles away from civilisation. A restful base with a wide range of facilities an easy distance from the area’s main cultural attractions.

Accommodation

There are four categories of room at Jetwing Kandy Gallery, with 26 rooms in total. Each room is spacious with a wide range of facilities and has a private balcony with sweeping views. Interconnecting rooms are available.

Deluxe Room: The four Deluxe Rooms are decorated in rich red hues in homage to the Kandyan monarchy, and are furnished with a large double or twin beds, TV, a/c, minibar and tea / coffee making facilities. The balcony is furnished with two sunbeds and the ensuite bathroom has both a shower and bathtub.

Luxury Room: The twelve Luxury Rooms are as above, but are decorated with notes of royal blue and contain two queen-sized beds. They are also on the first floor, and so have superior views from the balcony.

Gallery Suite: Located on the second and third floors, the four Gallery Suites not only have the advantage of superior views but are also more spacious. The large balconies are adorned with a table and chairs and also boast a Jacuzzi. All other facilities are as above.

Kandyan Suite: The six Kandyan Suites are decorated in luxurious gold and deep yellow, and boast a separate sitting area behind an ornate wooden screen and an enormous bathtub. The expansive balcony has a table and chairs and a large sun-lounger and offers exceptional views of the surrounding landscape.

Facilities

Jetwing Kandy Gallery has a large indoor restaurant, with plans to extend this out into the garden via a raised decking area, which serves a wide range of international cuisine and beverages. Breakfast can be enjoyed outside by the river. The large infinity swimming pool with river views is a peaceful place to relax and unwind, as is the spa which offers a range of soothing Balinese treatments. You will have a personal butler for the duration of your stay, and room service is available 24/7.
