Hunas Falls

Introduction

Hunas Falls enjoys one of the most scenic hotel settings in Sri Lanka. From the Hunasgiriya mountain range, a waterfall cascades through the steeply-banked tea and spice plantations to end in the small lake alongside which this hotel is situated. Hunas Falls has 31 well-furnished a/c rooms, each with a cable TV, a mini bar and tea/coffee facilities. The rooms open out to private balconies with hillside views. The three suites, Cardamom, Katsura and Highlander are decorated in three different themes. The suites have a dining area, a kitchenette, the ensuite bathrooms have h/w shower and bathtub.

The restaurant has lake views and serves Sri Lankan and western cuisine. There is a heated swimming pool, tennis courts, six-hole par-3 golf course, jogging track, snooker, volleyball, indoor games, and a well-stocked library. Other facilities include an on-call doctor, a small business centre, playrooms for children and teenagers, a hotel shop, and helipad.
