Accommodation

Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa at Dhonakulhi offers beautiful boutique accommodations on an island which has vast areas of private, tropical spaces.

Villas at this resort include private pool and direct beach access, along with a personal butler. There is Wi-Fi access throughout the resort.

The 103 suites sit amongst the palm groves and offer superior privacy and all luxuries to ensure a restful stay. Each villa has its own butler and is air-conditioned and include ceiling fans as well. The villas are equipped with satellite TV, DVD/Blu-ray player, home theatre system, safe, mini bar and tea/coffee making facility.

There are ten different types of villas at Hideaway Resort & Spa. The entry category is the Sunset Beach Villa which covers an area of 130 sq. m and includes direct beach access and has a separate living area next to the master bedroom. Some of the other villa types include Beach Residence with Plunge Pool, Deluxe Water Villa with Private Pool, Deluxe Sunset Beach Villa with Lap Pool and Two Bedroom Over Water Villa.

The highest category available is the Hideaway Palace, with three rooms able to accommodate up to six adults and four children. The villa covers an area of 1420 sq. m, and has two infinity pools.

Facilities

Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa has the only operational fully-equipped private marina in the country and the only in-house professional tennis academy. The spa features 12 private treatment suites, a steam room and hair salon. Guests looking for something a bit more active can take a dip in one of two outdoor pools, the gym or the beach volleyball court. Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa also offers a range of water sports.

There are several dining options: Matheefaru Restaurant features international dishes, the Samsara Asian restaurant serves modern Indian cuisine and the Meeru Bar and Grill offers contemporary European dishes including sea-food, pizzas and snacks.

Location

Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa is set on a crescent-shaped private island in the northern Haa Alifu Atoll. The resort can be reached by a 75-minute seaplane transfer or a 50-minute domestic flight followed by a 15-minute speedboat transfer.
