The stately manor house boasts timeless elegance and traces its roots back to the 1860s when it was the home of a British coffee planter. Accommodation
Surrounded by misty hilltops and lush greenery, the Coffee Bungalow offers three types of rooms; Junior suites, Deluxe Suites and Heritage Suites totalling to seven suites. Every room has views of the surrounding hills of Kandy and the ancient Royal city of Kandy in cluding the sacred Temple of the tooth and the Kandy Lake. With soft shades, elegant wooden furniture and floral curtains framing the windows, the rooms artfully resemble colonial charm. All rooms are equipped with a king size four poster bed with a 12 “ high mattress with modern amenities including Wi-Fi and in-room safe and mini bars in all rooms except the junior suites.. The airy ensuite bathrooms of the bungalow feature a free standing cast iron bathtub and a walk in rain shower.
Junior Suites (Max 2): Located on the two Extreme corners of the first floor of the bungalow, this 300 sq ft. room feature large windows. The room has a king-sized four poster bed and an wooden desk is placed near the window. The bathroom is equipped with a cast iron bathtub, walk in rain shower and all other modern amenities.
Deluxe Suites (Max 3): Located on the first floor, this 450 sq ft. double room has a king-sized four poster bed with a canopy and high ceilings and large windows. The spacious room also has a small seating area overlooking the panoramic views of Kandy. The en suite bathroom adorned in light hues, has a free standing cast iron bathtub and a walk in rain shower. An extra bed could be provided for a third adult or Child in the room at an extra charge.
Heritage Suites: (Max 2): Conveniently located on the ground floor, the Heritage suites have direct access to the garden, swimming pool, dining and living rooms. The suites are regal in their appearance with warm shades used in interior. As with all the other rooms, the Heritage Suite also have a well-appointed en suite bathroom with a Cast iron bath tub and a walk in shower. A safety deposit locker and a, mini bar is also provided. A hair dryer and other toilet amenities like coffee infused coffee hand soap is provided.

The Coffee Bungalow holds many historic secrets within its folds waiting to be unravelled. Some of the first coffee trees that were planted by the British can be seen here along with new Arabica coffee. In the expansive garden. Carefully curated historical, Cultural, adventurous and culinary experiences are available for interested guests to join.
The infinity pool overlooking the Kandyan hills and the ancient Royal city of Kandy and the Lake is ideal to take a refreshing dip after a day of sightseeing. Head to a quaint library to enjoy a cup of tea or simply relax with a book. The Coffee Bungalow offers cycling gear-so guests who can explore the pristine hill country on two wheels.
Gilbert's fine dining restaurant and bar mainly serves authentic Sri Lankan kandyan dishes and a range of British fusion dishes and has fine views of Kandy. Guests can also sample traditional Kandyan delicacies.
