Bellini Blue

Introduction

Bellini Blue is a contemporary little villa on the fringes of the upmarket settlement of Thalpe and proudly boasts that it is one of the closest beach villas to the fortified town of Galle. It is a sought-after choice for honeymooners or couples seeking a romantic and tranquil setting and also works perfectly for a family of four. Seaside tones of blue and white dominate this simple, gleaming property. The ground floor provides living quarters in the form of an airy open-plan room with satellite tv, cooling cement floors, comfy sofas, a dining area and a water feature. The room blends into a welcoming terrace area with the swimming pool beyond. Accommodation is on the upper floor. A sister villa of the adjacent property, On the Rocks.

Accommodation

There is a spacious master room with a terrace and an adjacent smaller twin room that is a perfect fit for children, both of them on the upper view. Both have a/c. The bathroom has a large open shower area with rain showers, double vanities and plants and pots enhance the room’s appeal. Rooms have a/c, a ceiling fan and safe. A cot can be provided on request.

Facilities

There is a swimming pool in gardens that stretch down to a quiet beach. Cement seating areas are thoughtfully positioned on the edge of the garden from where you can watch the sun set over the little beach, rock pools and Indian Ocean. There is cable TV and wi-fi. Meals can be served indoors on the eight-seater dining table or in a relaxed garden setting. The chef will discuss your fancies and dietary requirements and you will only be charged for ingredients and transport. There is a staff of four including a chef. Safer swimming is a few hundred metres away.
