Bay Vista Hotel

Introduction

Bay Vista Hotel is one of the larger hotels in Sri Lanka's east coast surfing haven of Arugam Bay, where accommodation is usually small guesthouses and private homes. With its laid-back atmosphere, comfortable rooms and great location, Bay Vista is good value for money. The stretch of sand beyond the hotel’s beach garden becomes a hive of activity when the local fishermen bring the day’s catch ashore, letting guests immerse themselves in the coastal village’s day-to-day life. The main surf point on the bay is just a short walk along the beach.

Accommodation

There are double and triple rooms which all have private balconies with sea or land views. The upper floor rooms have spectacular sea views. Interiors are equipped with twin or double beds, a/c and an overhead fan and a mini-fridge. Rooms also have an ensuite bathroom with h/w shower.

Facilities

There is a casual dining area which opens out on to an enclosed beach garden furnished with sun lounges as well as a main dining area, where Sri Lankan and western dishes, snacks, fresh juices, tea and coffee are served. Other facilities include: complimentary Wi-Fi in the restaurant and reception, room service, an on-call doctor and a baby-sitting service for children under four years old.
