Introduction

Anilana Nilaveli fronts the shimmering seas of Nilaveli on Sri Lanka's east coast. Set on a coconut grove, this stylish property offers a range of water-sports, several restaurants serving local and international cuisine and a personalised service. Anilana Nilaveli is the sister property of Anilana Pasikudah and Anilana Craig Bank Nuwara Eliya in the Hill Country.

Accommodation

There are 54 bedrooms, divided into several categories: Anilana Deluxe Rooms, Pool Chalets, Studios and Anilana Lux Rooms. Room interiors are stylishly-designed and equipped with A/C, LED TV with satellite channels, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee facilities, a mini-bar and a safe. Ensuite bathrooms have h/w showers.

Anilana Deluxe: These 27 rooms are compact and furnished with twin or king-sized beds.

Studios: The six luxurious studios are more spacious and contemporary in style.

Anilana Lux: Three spacious suites that can interconnect with a Deluxe Room. All have a private terrace with ocean and pool views.

Pool Chalets: Set close to the beach on either side of the two swimming pools, these are ideal for couples. Each of the 18 chalets has a rooftop terrace.

Facilities

Indulge in the international cuisine and seafood specialties on offer at the three in-house restaurants. There is also a rooftop bar with breath-taking sea views and a beach bar where you can enjoy a range of cocktails. Spend your days relaxing on a sun-lounge, on the beach or by the poolside.

Location

This contemporary beach resort is set in the beach village of Nilaveli, 16 kms north of Trincomalee. Trincomalee can be accessed travelling north along the east coast, from Arugam Bay via Batticaloa and Pasikudah, or from Habarana in the Cultural Triangle which takes about 2.5 hours.
