Jetwing Kaduruketha is a relaxing no-frills eco-hotel hidden away around beautiful green paddy fields and sparkling streams in Wellawaya, just south of the Sri Lanka highlands. The 25 dwellings at Jetwing Kaduruketha are inviting but uncomplicated, perfect for taking things slowly and connecting with nature and the simple life. Jetwing Kaduruketha places great emphasis on being a sustainable agro-luxury hotel: with added pool, spa and wine cellar naturally.

Accommodation

The 25 dwellings offer comfortable stays and are built on a 10-acre site. The dwellings draw inspiration from traditional village living with the architects having used bamboo and wood to provide natural ventilation.

Jetwing Kaduruketha offers two room categories: Wel Vidana Deluxe Dwellings and the Arachchi Deluxe Dwellings. These names bear reference to historic lands that were used for farming in the area. Both dwellings are spacious and are designed to connect easily with the outdoors. Guests have an assigned butler who will look after them during their stay. Each dwelling has either a private deck or veranda, tea/coffee making facility, mini bar, king-sized bed, writing table and safe. Two bicycles encourage guests to explore their surroundings. All bathrooms come equipped with a hairdryer, bathrobes and outdoor h/w shower. Rooms benefit from ceiling fans and natural ventilation. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. No extra beds are possible.

Arachchi: Each of these 11 Deluxe Dwellings extend towards the serene paddy fields and can occupy two people.

Wel Vidana: There are 14 Deluxe Dwellings of this type, each with 2 fans, a king-sized bed and a private veranda overlooking the paddy fields and forest. These rooms are slightly bigger than the Arachchi dwellings.

Facilities

From a 230 sqm swimming pool which overlooks breathtaking fields and mountains to an in-house library, there is plenty to occupy you. Take a bike ride through the village or just make a trip to the wine cellar instead. There is also a spa offering a variety of traditional Ayurvedic treatments and room service until midnight. In keeping with the peaceful atmosphere, there are no TVs in the rooms.
