Introduction
Sihina is a modern villa located on the fringes of Kosgoda beach on Sri Lanka's west coast. Designed by reputed architect Channa Dasawatte, an understudy of Sri Lanka’s revered architect Geoffrey Bawa, Sihina is a five-bedroom contemporary villa surrounded by lush greenery facing a lagoon, with direct access to the unspoilt beaches of Kosgoda. The dining space offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and there is also a separate lounge – complete with bar – which overlooks the pool. Sihina’s décor celebrates local artistic talent: pieces by local artists adorn the walls throughout the property. Sihina is booked on villa basis.
Accommodation
The five bedrooms at Sihina are all furnished with a king-sized bed, a writing desk and a wardrobe. Each room is individually-designed, showcasing a beautiful antique wooden headboard, the pattern of which is replicated onto the wardrobe. In-room facilities include A/C, a ceiling fan. Ensuite bathrooms have h/w showers and hair dryers.
Facilities
The dining options include a variety of Sri Lankan and western dishes. The villa also has a private beach stretch and their own beach hut, which is complete with BBQ facilities. There is a 30m infinity pool with pool bar, and an entertainment room with a cable TV, books and a selection of board games.
