Introduction

Sigiriana Resort by Thilanka is situated on a 25-acre estate filled with fruit, spices and paddy near Dambulla – a tropical oasis with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Accommodation

There are 12 Deluxe Rooms housed in three separate two-storey villas. One of the villas is located amidst a mango orchard. All rooms are stylishly designed along contemporary lines incorporating natural vibrant colours. Spacious ensuite bathrooms have h/w showers and plunge pools. Other in-room facilities include: individually controlled air-conditioning; IDD telephone; TV and DVD player; mini-bar; tea / coffee making facilities, and safety locker.

Facilities

Thilanka's extensive gardens are a tropical haven. The infinity pool sits on the edge of a 30-year-old mango orchard that has over 440 trees. Rejuvenate your body with the ancient healing touch of Ayurveda at the in-house Spa, or relax your mind through meditation and yoga. Recreational facilities include tennis, archery, volleyball, table tennis and indoor games. Also available: a business centre with access to international courier services; doctor-on-call; valet and baby-sitting services, and baby cots. Thilanka takes pride in their cuisine: Sri Lankan rice and curries, fusion food and juices, are prepared with fresh fruit, spices and vegetables from their gardens. Meals are served at the Kamatha Restaurant which offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. There is a comprehensive cookery programme on offer which includes shopping in the local markets, cooking and tasting of traditional local cuisine.
