Kuramathi, settled on Rasdhoo Atoll, a tiny island surrounded by the calm waters of the Indian Ocean and abundant in greenery, was one of the first Maldives island resorts to welcome guests.

Accommodation
Accommodation at Kuramathi is classified under Beach Villas, Two-Bedroom Beach House, Water Villas and Pool Villas, with each having several sub categories.
Beach Villas: Hidden in vegetation a few steps from the beach, these villas feature four-poster king-sized beds, wooden decks at the front with a daybed and sun lounges. The ensuite bathrooms are partially open-air and have outdoor rain showers. The Beach Villas also come in several options: Beach Villa with Jacuzzi, Superior Beach Villa with Jacuzzi and Deluxe Beach Villa with Jacuzzi.
Two-Bedroom Beach House: Ideal for families or friends travelling together, this two-storey beach house features separate living spaces with individual entrances. Each floor has a bedroom with a king-sized bed, daybed and wooden sundeck or balcony. Ensuite bathrooms are spacious and airy with a bathtub, shower, vanity and outdoor rain shower. Located at the top end of the island with views of the reef or lagoon, these can accommodate up to six adults.
Water Villas with Jacuzzi: Built on stilts overlooking the Indian Ocean, these are closer to the reefs and feature an airy bedroom with a king-sized bed and large bathroom with twin vanities and rain showers. The spacious sundeck comes with Jacuzzi and sun lounges. Water Villas also come in Deluxe Water Villa and Water Villa with Pool options.
Pool Villa: Settled at the end of the beach, Pool Villas has its own private courtyard. The bedroom affords views of the infinity pool and the horizon beyond and is furnished with a king-sized bed, walk-in wardrobe and indoor bathroom with a bathtub, twin vanities and rain showers. There are also the Thundi Water Villa with Pool and Honeymoon Pool Villa.
In-room facilities for all categories include: AC, fan, minibar, Wi-Fi, cable TV, coffee and tea making facilities.
Facilities
Kuramathi’s three main restaurants – Haruge, Malaafaiy and Farivalhu- scattered across the island, serve international buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also nine a la carte dining options: Siam Garden offers Thai cuisine; Tandoor Mahal for Indian cuisine; The Reef is their signature seafood restaurant; Kobe offers a Japanese teppanyaki experience; Palm serves a variety of Mediterranean culinary delights; Duniye offers a range of dishes from across the world; Inguru serves an assortment of Asian fusion cuisine and Island Barbeque for some delicious grills and BBQs. Plus destination dining experiences. Six bars serve a combination of classic and tropical cocktails and international spirits.
The sports centre offers several activities including diving, tennis, in addition to a fully-equipped gymnasium and swimming pools. The Kuramathi Spa offers a range of relaxing rituals and spa treatments.

Location
Kuramathi is set in Rasdhoo Atoll, on one of five islands in this tiny archipelago. Transfers are by speed boat or by seaplane. By boat it will take about 90 minutes to Male Airport or a 20-minute seaplane ride. The speed boat operates twice a day at set times.
