Accommodation
The 12 bedrooms and suites are set in six two-storey chalets. Each chalet has a spacious Deluxe Room on the upper floor and a Superior Room on the ground floor opening on to private balconies with mountain and jungle views. The upper-floor Deluxe Rooms and Suites have better views of the mountains including Mihintale and the Dambulla cave temple at a distance. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with king-size beds and lounge chairs. Ensuite bathrooms have h/w rain showers. In-room facilities include a/c, overhead fans, IDD telephone, Wi-Fi internet, mini-bar, tea/coffee facility, safety locker, hair dryer, bathrobe and slippers, room service and laundry service.
Superior Rooms: These ground floor Superior Rooms open out to the wilderness.
Deluxe Rooms: Located on the upper floors of the chalets, the Deluxe Rooms have better views across the tree canopy on to the mountains.
Suites: The two suite rooms are spacious and located on the upper floor with beautiful mountain and wilderness views. Each suite consists of a bedroom, living room and ensuite bathroom with twin vanities, bathtub and h/w rain showers.
Facilities
Dine indoors or al fresco style by the poolside surrounded by tall trees and views on to the ancient Kandalama Lake at a distance. Traditional Sri Lankan cuisine and a fusion of international cuisine are served here prepared with fresh produce that is sourced from the local village and fresh seafood from the North East coast. Home baked breads, pastries and cakes are a specialty here and are served with Ceylon Tea and a variety of coffees. The in-house spa offers relaxing Ayurvedic massages. Other hotel facilities include a swimming pool, mountain bikes for exploring the surrounding village, guided nature trails, indoor games, doctor-on-call, and souvenir shop.
