Introduction
Seagreen is a small five-bedroom guesthouse with beautiful views of the ocean from its rooftop on Rampart Street in Galle’s 17C Dutch Fort. It is a family run guesthouse which is housed in a narrow building that spreads across three floors. This site originally housed a colonial period home that dates back to the 18C of which, now only the old sign board that says `Seagreen’ still remains. The Sri Lankan family that now owns this property has lived within the Fort for nine generations and knows the area well. The first and second floors consist of the bedrooms and a rooftop terrace with spectacular views across the Fort and the turquoise seas. The owners live on the ground floor and are at hand to ensure you have a relaxing holiday. Seagreen is simple, but clean and comfortable and as well as impressing during our own inspections receives good Trip Advisor reviews.
